                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 7335
                   SHALLOWFORD ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE
                   OF SHALLOWFORD ROAD AT GUNBARREL ROAD FROM R-1
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO O-1 OFFICE ZONE, SUBJECT TO
                   A CERTAIN CONDITION.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 7335 Shallowford Road,
                being on the northeast line of Shallowford Road at
                Gunbarrel Road.  Lot 14, Timberland Subdivision, as
                shown by plat of record in plat book 20, page 73,
                R.O.H.C.  Said lot begins at the intersection of
                the northeast line of Shallowford Road with the
                northwest line of Gunbarrel Road, thence northwest
                128 feet with Shallowford Road, thence northeast
                205 feet, thence southeast 129.6 feet to the
                northwest line of Gunbarrel Road, thence southwest
                205 feet with Gunbarrel Road to the northeast line
                of Shallowford Road, the point of beginning.
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to O-1 Office Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following condition:
        
              1.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
